About Shark Fishing:

Location

Shark fishing takes place in Tampa Bay's deep shipping channel or out in the Gulf where monsters like to lurk. We would be fishing deeper waters and shorelines where these Apex predators are constantly on the hunt looking for fish to prey on.

Species

Some of the most common species found while shark fishing are Black Tip, Bull, Nurse, Lemon and Bonnet Head sharks. Though they are not common, we do encounter Hammerhead and Tiger Sharks during our excursions.

Technique

Common techniques for shark fishing (both day and night) include anchoring or drifting, while big live or dead baits are spread out behind the boat at different depths to cover all water columns. Mullet, Bonita, or Spanish Mackerel are usually the baits of choice when targeting these monsters because they are the most oily/bloodiest. We are equipped with the necessary heavy tackle to be able to safely and efficiently fight and land these massive sharks.

Suggestions on what to bring

When preparing for your charter fishing trip, it’s important to dress appropriately for the weather. On warmer days, we recommend a light long-sleeve shirt, polarized sunglasses to reduce glare, and a hat to keep the sun off your face. For cooler days, layering is key—bring several layers that you can easily add or remove as needed. While alcohol is allowed on board, please remember that this is a fishing trip, not a drinking one. Lastly, don’t forget to bring a small cooler to take home your catch at the end of the day. We want you to have a comfortable, enjoyable experience on the water!

4

Prepare for an unforgettable fishing experience

Get ready for a worry-free day on the water, where all you need to focus on is having fun and reeling in your catch. We’ll take care of everything else, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish. As a special touch, we’ll be providing you complementary film and pictures of your catches throughout your adventure. By the end of the trip, you’ll have high-quality footage to relive the excitement and share your adventure with friends and family. It’s all about enjoying the day, creating memories, and leaving with something special to remember it by!
